Star eyes is a journalist, party promoter, magazine editor, radio host, label boss, and powerhouse producer. Raving since she was 13, she’s helped countless artists get some of the attention they deserve through writings, bookings, and interviews. All while building her own brand of bass music mogul.
We talk about the thirst for dance music that some of us are born with and what it was like raving in the 90s. I ask about the historic Trouble and Bass parties in NYC, and what it takes to stay involved in a global music scene while locked down in your apartment.
